Greens Island Camp

About the Camp

Green's Island Camp is a wilderness retreat on a 400-acre island in Penobscot Bay, Maine. Located on the southwest side of Green's Island, the camp is remarkably private. The 100-acre property contains almost 2 miles of shoreline, and is protected by a conservation easement. Dramatic granite rock formations, a dozen varied beaches, and deep spruce forests are yours to explore.

Staying on a Maine island is a special experience, and many of our guests find that the unspoiled surroundings and simple lifestyle promote reflection and a reconnection to nature. With 100 acres of forest and shore to roam, you won't see other people unless you wish. It's like having a Maine island to yourself.

You can kayak along the secluded shore, hike for hours along wooded trails, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful views across Penobscot Bay. Take off your watch, and surrender to the rhythm of the sun and the tide.
