Green's Island is a 400-acre island located alongside Vinalhaven in Penobscot Bay, Maine. Our home is located on the southwest side of Green's Island. The 100 acres of conservation land contain almost 2 miles of shoreline, including dramatic granite rock formations, a dozen varied beaches, and deep spruce forests.

Guests can kayak along the secluded shore, hike for hours along wooded trails, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful views across Penobscot Bay. Staying on a Maine island is a special experience, and many of our guests find that the unspoiled surroundings and simple lifestyle promote reflection and a reconnection to nature.

Green's Island is readily accessible from the mainland, since neighboring Vinalhaven Island has regular ferry service. You board the ferry at Rockland, and we will meet you at the ferry landing in Vinalhaven, and return you there at the end of your stay.

The camp is currently not available for rental.
